GARMIN APPROACH G3 GOLF GPS SYSTEM
Garmin International is pleased to announce the Approach G3. The Approach G3 features a 2.6" sunlight-readable, touchscreen display for easy operation and keeps score for up to four players. Initially, the Approach G3 will come preloaded with more than 1,200 course maps for the UK. Course maps for countries throughout Europe, as well as additional UK courses, will be added to our CourseView database at regular intervals throughout the year. There will be no subscription fees for downloading these additional European course maps. . Touch targeting allows players to key onto landing areas and greens with precision, and manual pin positioning allows them to adjust the flag for the day's pin position. The detailed golf course maps provide golfers with precise distance information about fairways, hazards and greens from any point on the course. As players move about the course, the unit continuously updates position and shows the distance to each target. Additionally, we are enhancing our courses with treeline features. Players may use the tree line as a strategic place to focus their aim on a drive or approach. Approach - the new leader in the clubhouse!
